Who We Are
“Banamalli sahitya o’ seba sangathan” is a team of socio-cultural-literary organization, established on 25th of May 2015, with a mission to explore and promote literary talents in rural areas. Arranging various conferences, by recognizing and encouraging rural talents in the direction of writing and reading Odia language, it is fast proceeding towards its goal to succeed and promote creating awareness to understand the importance of language in rural areas. By this time, it ramified itself and started serving rural poor in various fields like health, education, environment etc. Now, “Banamalli sahitya ‘o’ seba” sangathan presents itself as a huge organization consisting of more than hundred active members and volunteers. Now this organization is serving proactively in Jajpur, Odisha.
Our Vision
Mission and vision capture the core essence of an organization’s beliefs and values and define its place in the world. Banamalli sahitya o’ seba sangathan is growing up with some visions and goals. The primary objective of our organization is to stimulate the literary creativity of aspiring youths. Along with developing awareness amongst people about Odia language and its greatness; attempt has also been made to spread greenery, to freeing the environment from pollution, bringing transparency in electoral system are some of the great futuristic visions we have. Saving girl child & educating them, extending our contribution to add Clean India programme, feeding indigent people, providing shelter to homeless add on the list too. The great visions of Banamalli have been appreciated much by local people and organizations. We not only set visions but also work diligently towards achieving them.
Our Initiative
Initiatives are considered one of the best leadership styles for aligning the Organisation with society. It can be the best way to develop series of leaders who would be the front runner to create awareness among people. We understand its impact on society and to achieve our goals, to provide qualitative service to society through our team members.
Annual day
In our annual day we provide a platform to the rural talents to showcase their talents.
Magazine
We have started publishing an annual Magazine named ‘Mahaka’ which has been proved as the best way to give an opportunity to the rural literary talents.
Rights to vote awareness program
Before every election we use to arrange various awareness programs in order to spread a message among people that maximum electoral participants to get turn out for exercising their franchise fearlessly in a transparent manner.
Plantation
Towards the direction of spreading greenery, our organization very often takes various initiatives for plantation and social forestry. We gift seedlings to people in every function from our organization. To commemorate every birthday function of our members, we plants sapling to keep it alive for ever.
Awareness in all festivals
By showing placards in every local festival, our organization raises various issues pertaining to socio-economic, educational and cultural areas.
Good will drop box
We are also looking forward to adopt another wonderful concept named as ‘Good will drop box’. Through this initiative we will avail charity boxes at various places so that people can donate charitable goods easily.
Providing homes
Providing homes to the homeless people by receiving donations from the villages is one of the best Noble Works done by Banamalli.
Blood donation
Banamalli sahitya o’ seba sangathan is also engaged with helping needy people to reach and get medical facilities along with our volunteers who are efficiently arranging and donating blood in emergency cases. More than five hundred units of blood has been donated and arranged by our volunteers.
